An American airline mechanic pleads guilty to tempering with the airplanes mechanics. He has been a mechanic for almost 30 years. He wanted to “sabotage the airline but did not intend to hurt any of the 150 passengers” according to prosecutors and Fox News. The airplane never left the runway, thankfully to a warning that appeared just before take off. He also told prosecutors that he “wanted to make more overtime while working on the damaged plane”.

Someone should never put others in that kind of danger regardless of money or greed. Thankfully the tempered with alert system still addressed the issue and prevented another catastrophe. He even said in one of his hearings, according to reporters, that he admired the “divine powers of ISIS and their ability to harm non-muslims”. He faces up to three years in prison.
