Halloween in Florida 2020

Autumn Cleary

Is Halloween cancelled in Florida? Obviously not as Gov. Ron Desantis moved Florida to phase three on Friday September 25th. Trick-or-Treating may be frowned upon by the CDC but that isn’t stopping the Florida theme parks.
A few examples include, Disney Parks cancelled its annual Mickey’s Not So scary Halloween party, in its place they’re rolling out something they call festive activities like Halloween food and costumes. Universal cancelled Halloween Horror Nights but have opened two haunted houses in its place, in addition to the houses they offer trick-or-Treating for kids in island of adventure. Bush Gardens is holding their Howl-O-Scream this year just with a little more safety precautions.
Halloween is not cancelled and is still happening just with a little more caution.
