On November 12th Walmart released a limited amount of PS5’s at 12pm ET, 3pm, 6pm, and at 9pm. According to Daliy Mail “Major retailers including Amazon, Best Buy, GameStop and Walmart were all sold out within hours, some even in minutes.” Costumers rushed onto the website to purchase the highly anticipated gaming counsel but were discouraged when the website removed the item from their carts and “Is no longer available”Now scalpers have relisted the same gaming counsel on eBay for a $1000. Luckily retailers have come out and have already restocked the gaming systems.

This year there are two versions of the PS5 one of them contains the standard disc drive and retails for $499 while the other is called “PlayStation 5 Digital Edition” which doesn’t contain a disc drive and will most likely only play games found on the internet. Sony shared in a post  “Whichever PS5 you choose, you’ll enjoy the same breathtaking, next-gen gaming experiences,” To take a deeper dive into the PS5 specific attributes check out Everything You Need To Know About The PS5 – GameSpot  .
