Port Richey: Motorcyclist Arrested for Leaving 7-Year-Old Dead After Hit and Run

Port Richey, Florida: On Saturday, A 19-year-old Port Richey driver was arrested after being accused of killing a 7-year-old boy after a hit and run at the intersection of Regency Park Boulevard and King Arthur Boulevard. The motorist was riding down Regency Park Boulevard at a high rate of speed, where the man eventually collided with the boy and fled the scene soon after. The boy was on the crosswalk with his mother and siblings when the motorist collided into the child. The young boy was taken to a local hospital, to where he died due the severity of the given injuries. The man, who was later identified as Shaun Wyrich, eventually surrendered to officer’s, and was taken to Land O’ Lakes Detention Center with charges of leaving the scene of a crash involving a death and no motorcycle endorsement. The motorcycle was eventually recovered at a home on Fox Hollow Drive.
