Billie Eilish: The World’s a Little Blurry

Sara Grace Medina, Writer

Billie Eilish is a young teenage singer known all around the world by all age groups. Eilish started singing at such a young age. Taking off as fast as she did was very exciting for her, but also nerve wracking. Winning 5 Grammys in the 2020 really proved how much of an impact she is making on the music industry. Billie Eilish just came out with a new documentary all fans have been dying to see: “Billie Eilish: The World’s A Little Burry”. This documentary came out February 25, 2021 on “Apple TV Plus”. If you missed the live event the documentary will become available to Apple TV Plus subscribers to watch on demand. To recap on some of the major points in the documentary, during the first half fans get to see she experienced a heart break, just like everyone else. This was with her now ex-boyfriend Brandon “Q” Adams, throughout the documentary she just referred to him as “Q”. Fans get to see how their relationship was affecting Eilish’s mental and physical health. “I can’t fix him. I tried. I can’t do it anymore. I’m not happy,” After the breakup during one of her performances she gets to choked up to even continue singing during a song. She has such a supportive fan base that while this happened fans continued singing the lyrics until she composes herself. Another thing we discovered in her documentary was she hates writing songs. Sounds crazy right? She loves singing the songs of course but she actually hates the process of writing them. “I like singing songs. I like having songs to sing,” she continues “I’ve always hated [writing songs]. Every single time that I’ve written a song that I actually like, I’ve hated the process. It really tortures me.” Billie Eilish discussed many more personal topics that really opened fans’ eyes and showed once again you cannot truly believe everything you see from the smiles of social media.
