Pasco, Washington: Woman Turns Herself into Pasco Police and Wouldn’t Let Cops in Bar After Fight

On April 20th in Pasco, Washington: Officers received a call for an ambulance to help an unconscious female that was bleeding from the ear at the Kahlua’s Bar on 1901 N 4th AveOnce officers arrived at Kahlua’s Bar, they found no victim and no occupants saying there was a witness of the reported eventA crowd of patrons then began running out the door while Kahlua employees prevented officers from entering the premises. Officers eventually entered but found no victim inside the bar. The victim was a 30-year-old female, who eventually turned up at Trios Medical Center and was taken by a friend. The female claimed she had a laceration behind her ear, a knot on her head, clumps of hair missing, broken glass in her hair, and even reported being knocked unconscious by the suspect, with whom she claims she has had relations. Officers looked for couple of days for the suspect, Estefani Magdalena Ortiz. On Monday morning, Ortiz called the station to turn herself into the officers looking for her. The officers met up with Ortiz and investigated the crimes allegedwhich led to Ortiz being booked for Second Degree Assault. The officers present at Kahlua’s on the 20thprovided the Washington State Liquor Control Board with observations they have made at the event; the assault was recorded on bodycam cameras. Also, anyone with more info about this assault is urged to call Dispatch at (509)628-0333 or email Officer Dave Dillsworth at [email protected] about case 21-10554 Agg Assault.
