The 8-0 San Fransisco 49ers have beat the 3-4-1 Arizona Cardinals by a final score of 28-25 on Thursday Night Football. The game was very competitive and it was a pretty nice game. I think it could of been better if Kyler Murray wouldn’t have made some rookie mistakes, but it still a good game nether the less.

Jimmy Garoppolo, the Niners quarterback, threw for 317 yards and four touchdowns. Emmanuel Sanders, the recently aquired wideout from the Broncos, caught 7 passes for 112 yards and a touchdown. George Kittle, their star tight end, caught 6 passes for 79 yards and a touchdown as well. The other two touchdowns, Dante Pettis and Kendrick Bourne, only caught one pass, and that was their touchdown, with Pettis’s being from 21, and Bourne’s from 7, respectively.

The Niners running game kind of fell behind today. Matt Bredia returned from injury and looked ready to dominate, as he hurdled a defended for a huge gain in the second quarter. Matt Bredia had 15 carries for 78 yards. Tevin Coleman had 12 carries for a unusual sluggish 23 yards. Jimmy G ran for three, and Raheem Mosert did not gain any yards, as he lost -2 yards on his only carry. The defense looked OK, as Fred Warner had a nice 9 tackle game.

Well, the Cardinals had a interesting game. Not because it wasn’t a good game for them, it was because at one point they were down 28-7. They scored a touchdown in the 3rd quarter, to put them to 28-14. Then, they scored 11 points in the 4th quarter. Kyler Murray threw for 241 yards and two touchdowns, while newly aquired runningback Kenyan Drake rumbled for 110 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries. That is 7.3 yards per carry!

Andy Isabella caught ONE pass for 88 yards and a touchdown. KeeSean Johnson caught 2 passes for 22 yards and a touchdown also. The Cardinals almost came back.. almost..

Congrats to the Niners on a close victory!
