The Baltimore Ravens have beat the New England Patriots in shocking fashion on Sunday Night Football. Lamar Jackson had a nice game tonight, and so did powerhouse back Mark Ingram. The Patriots defense looked gross, and did not come to perform tonight. Julian Edelman had a costly fumble that was returned for a touchdown, and Tom Brady threw a awful interception. This game was once tied. Once..
First, let’s start with the Ravens, who are now 6-2. Lamar Jackson, their star QB, threw for only a lowsy 161 yards and a touchdown. However, he did run for 16 carries for 61 yards and two touchdowns. Mark Ingram ran wild for 15/115, and Gus Edwards even had a nice game (7/27/1). Nobody on the Ravens really had a great game receiving, but Nick Boyle (5/27/1) caught the only touchdown. The defense… was superior. It was what won the Ravens the game, as Brady couldn’t throw for much tonight. Earl Thomas had a nice pick against Brady, and Marlon Humphrey picked up a fumble by Julian Edelman and ran it back for a touchdown!
The Patriots (8-1) were unbeat before this game, and they just looked past their prime. Tom Brady still threw for 285 yards and a touchdown, but a costly interception against Earl Thomas kind of ruined his vibe. Julian Edelman, as we said, coughed up the ball for a 70 yard return by Marlon Humphrey. James White ran for 9/38/1. Mohammed Sanu, their recently aquired wideout from the Falcons, caught Brady’s only touchdown. He had a OK game, and he had 10/81/1. The Patriots defense did not look very good, as they could not stop Lamar Jackson last night.
Congratulations on the Ravens for ruining Brady’s undefeated season!
