Cowboys demolish Giants on MNF 38-17
November 5, 2019
The Dallas Cowboys have beat the New York Giants 38-17 on Monday night football. The game was highlighted by a black cat, a horrible game by Saquon, and a dominant performance by the Cowboys.
We will start with the Cowboys, as Dak Prescott had a nice performance, throwing for 257 yards and 3 touchdowns with one interception, where 35-year old Antonie Bethea picked him off. Ezekiel Elliot was dominant, easily earning them good field position with the Giants terrible defense. Elliot had 23 carries for 139 yards and 0 touchdowns. The three Dak touchdowns were from Amari Cooper (4/80/1), Blake Jarwin (1/42/1) and Michael Gallup (2/22/1). The Cowboys defense looked as dominant as ever, as they had five sacks and a interception. Otherwise, their team looks like a legit Super Bowl contender.
Now the Giants… the poor, poor Giants…. what can I say? Daniel Jones had a terrible game. He only threw for 210 yards and one touchdown with a pick too. You know it was a horrible performance by Saquon Barkely when Daniel Jones, his QUARTERBACK, ran for more yards then him on 8 less carries. It is a really sad thing to see. Anyways, Saquon ran for 28 yards on 14 carries, for a absolutely abismal 2 yards per carry. Now, Saquon DID have 6 catches for 68 yards, which is cool. Daniel Jones’s only touchdown came on a pretty good route by Cody Latimer. This game was just bad overall for the Giants.
Dallas faces off against Minnesota next week, and the Giants have a actual competitor as they go against the Jets who just lost to the Dolphins.
Congratulations to the Cowboys, for uhhh… getting the better side of the black cat.
