The Miami Heat have been truly special so far this season. Im not sure if it is because they are playing with a chip on their shoulder or what, but its been truly phenominal for them this season.

Some players have just simply broke out, such as young superstar Kendrick Nunn, whose games (24,18,25,17,28,5) have helped the Heat tremendously. Also another young rookie has been going off and ignoring critics who disregarded him coming into the draft, and that is Tyler Herro, whose games (14,14,8,29,17,12) have also helped the Heat become one of the best contenders in the league. For forever, since Bosh, Wade, and LeBron left, the Heat have been just mediocre at best. Until this season…

In the 2019 NBA Free Agency, the Miami Heat also pulled off a huge sign and trade, trading a decent Josh Richardson and a future pick to the 76ers for superstar guard Jimmy Butler, who has also contributed to the Heat being as good as they are. Their roster is mainly comprimised of just regular players, as a couple of not-so-household names have really carried this franchise. Consider their win over the Rockets as a keen example. Duncan Robinson, who scored 23 points. Meyers Leonard, the guy who the aquired in the trade for Hasaan Whiteside, scored 21 points. Their team is just getting started, and if they can reel in another player next year, I really do think that this team could be a championship-caliber team if they can just get one more star.

The Heat have been suprise contenders this year, and it has been very good. Congratulations to the Heat for their success. They are currently 5-1, with their only loss coming at the hands of the Timberwolves.
